For tech enthusiasts, the first week of January is extra special, as it marks the annual CES®, billed as “the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies and where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace.” Held each year in Las Vegas, predictions and announcements are already hitting headlines, and with less than a month to go, IEEE is preparing for its own booth experience.
IEEE will be on the ground at CES, covering the show on social media (follow along with #cesIEEE on Instagram and Twitter, or like us on Facebook for updates!) and on IEEE Transmitter, while also giving our audience a glimpse into our booth experience.
Since CES is celebrating its 50th anniversary, they are looking back at some of the technology that has debuted at their event over the years. IEEE will also be mentioning the history of key technologies in the concept, called “IEEE UniVRse”. It is a room-scale experience where show attendees can explore and interact with different technology in virtual reality.
To experience the booth firsthand, visit the IEEE booth (#30546) in South Hall 3 of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
