Intelligent transportation solutions are on the rise, and with them comes a slew of companion products to help optimize the experience. Following in the footsteps of automakers like Hyundai and Volvo, Ford joins the ranks as the latest car company to launch its own smartwatch app.

The app is called MyFord, and it’s an especially useful app for drivers who have certain electric and plug-in hybrid Ford vehicles, as it enables them to check the car’s battery status. In addition to checking the vitals, MyFord allows drivers to lock/unlock the car, control climate, and get directions to where the car is parked.

As it turns out, MyFord does more than just offer features to track your vehicle. In fact, it also assesses the driver’s skill with a personal driving score that evaluates how well you drive by how far you’ve traveled, the miles per gallon, and patterns in acceleration and braking.

According to Digital Trends, MyFord’s latest features are available to owners of the Ford Focus Electric and C-Max Energi and Fusion Energi plug-in hybrids.
