How is 5G benefiting education?

By providing high-speed data access, 5G allows more equitable access to video streaming, thereby potentially providing access to quality education to remote areas. Moreover, 5G’s high-speed network access enables remote access to technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) that can provide opportunities for remote presence for instructors and students. This opens up opportunities for students to gain access to classrooms and labs that they otherwise did not have access to.
