Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: I’ve always loved mathematics, which led me to computers and, eventually, to software engineering.
And on a personal level, I never cease to be amazed by the structure of the world and the aesthetics of simple equations that can model a great part of it. But the world is not perfect, and I believe it’s on us to make it better. I’ve always been interested in social impact, and I’ve come to learn that technology is a tool that can be used for the greater good.
