Q: How do you think IEEE benefits your profession? The world?

A: The IEEE is a great professional organization. In my humble opinion, knowledge is the core business of the IEEE. The institute fosters collaboration among specialists all over the world, in all continents. It supports its members in educational activities which are fundamental to developing new science and technology groups of interests, scientific communities and even the creation of new disciplines and courses anywhere in the world. The benefits to science and engineering education that the IEEE brings to developing countries, in particular, is key to increasing interest in technology, all over the world.
