Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: My interest in technology evolved as I became more aware of its vital role in all aspects of scientific work. From tracking endangered wildlife through telemetry to using underwater cameras to quantify marine debris, these projects could not exist without the technological advances that give us a window into unseen, and often inhospitable, habitats.
