Q: How do you think IEEE benefits your profession? The world?

A: Being an IEEE Senior Member has provided me with the ability to publish my research at world-leading conferences while also enabling me to network with my peers, prominent women in engineering and academics.

As an IEEE volunteer, I’ve had my professional development considerably furthered by having been provided with opportunities to serve as a mentor, organize conferences and chair subcommittees. Volunteering is time consuming, but it’s extremely fulfilling – I couldn’t recommend it more strongly.
