Q:What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology?

A: As a child I was quite interested in making toys by myself with materials I obtained. Many of the electric appliances in my home were disassembled and assembled several times by me. I was already curious about those mechanical and electric things. When I was admitted to University of Science and Technology of China, I chose engineering without hesitation.
