Q: What inspires you today?

A: We live in an age where multidisciplinarity is key and the traditional “silos” in science are being broken down. Biomedical engineering is a prime example of this, as managing illness (and now wellness) is intimately aligned with technological developments. The upshot is unprecedented breakthroughs resulting in people living longer and more productive lives.
