How has IEEE helped you in your career journey?

IEEE has played a major role in my career journey by helping me grow both technically and professionally. I joined IEEE Open Project Space (OPS) not knowing much at all, but through hands-on experience and mentorship, I began building real technical skills. Eventually, I was encouraged to run as a Technical Lead, which pushed me to step up, take ownership and lead others through projects I once felt intimidated by. Beyond that, IEEE opened doors to networking with professors and industry professionals, as well as attending conferences that expanded my perspective on emerging technologies. Those experiences helped me see what’s possible in engineering and gave me the confidence to pursue bigger opportunities.

What intrigues you right now?

These days, I’m busy diving deeper into hardware-software co-design. The challenge of balancing performance, scalability and sustainability in computing systems really excites me. I am interested in how engineers can design systems that are not only powerful, but also responsible and efficient. Outside of the tech world, I am passionate about challenging my mind through yoga and staying active!
