IEEE Transmitter

What advice would you give to young technologists on how to get the most out of the IEEE membership experience?

Be actively involved with IEEE. The time you put in learning and connecting with IEEE at the start of your career will propel your career growth. Volunteering with IEEE gives you a safe place to learn and demonstrate yourself in a way that you can share. My favorite thing about the connections and the network I have through IEEE, is that when I’ve needed to move my career forward, I’ve had people there that have helped me to make informed decisions for myself and my career.

What’s keeping you busy these days?

My volunteering with IEEE. A lot of my volunteering in IEEE is focused on helping people to connect locally (technical chapters) and outreach to engineers and society. Additionally, the work I do with radio waves and microwaves and its history and applications keeps me busy.
