How has IEEE helped you in your career journey?

IEEE has been part of my journey from the very beginning. During my bachelor’s, my first project was through an IEEE program called Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS). That experience opened doors and I started meeting more people in the network. When I later moved, I connected with even more like-minded academics and engineers through IEEE. IEEE has been instrumental in shaping my career and helping me meet inspiring people along the way.

What’s the hottest technology in the next 10 years?

We’ve just scratched the surface of AI’s potential. It’s already impressive today but in the next 5 to 10 years it’s going to transform industries, especially aerospace and rail. I’m still in awe of what it can do, and I think we’ll be amazed by how much it changes the world.
