How has IEEE helped you in your career journey?

I’ve developed my leadership skills by organizing many IEEE events during my student and professional lives. I have gained access to the technical resources and networking opportunities with professionals and experts across the globe. I’ve served in leadership roles and enhanced my organizational and communication skills. I was also a mentee in the Electrical Engineering stream under the Professional Mentoring Program for Young Faculty Members, which the IEEE India Council Industry-Academia Young Professionals Sub-Committee organized. This mentoring experience provided valuable professional guidance and significantly influenced my academic and career development.

What intrigues you right now?

What truly intrigues me is the intersection of machine learning and power electronics. Especially how hybrid AI algorithms can enhance battery management systems and improve the efficiency and reliability of electric vehicles. I’m currently exploring research opportunities in unified battery grading and state of charge prediction using advanced machine learning techniques, which I believe have immense potential for the future of sustainable mobility.
