What advice would you give to young technologists on how to get the most of the IEEE membership experience?

My advice is to participate in IEEE events, from student branch gatherings and tutorials to IEEE reunions and conferences. Affiliate with one or two technical societies and also participate in their events. This will broaden your network on an international level.

What’s keeping you busy these days?

These days, I am focused on my research and actively participating in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s (RAS) events and conferences. I am also an associate editor of two IEEE RAS journals. I am also interested in different challenges of drone applications, coupled with different types of robots within a multi-robot system.
