Augmented Reality (AR) is an experience in which virtual objects and/or virtual information is overlaid on our view of the real world around us. The virtual objects and information are usually registered or aligned with the real world, so they remain “in place” as we move around. AR can be presented with a head worn display, a cellphone with a camera, or any other display that can combine virtual and real views.
