This system consists of a gate that is automatically controlled by a microcontroller.The microcontroller used here is ATMEGA16.The microcontroller alongwith Adc and Uart has been used to implement the functionality of above system. ? At the gate there will be ATMEGA 16 dev. Board with lcd to display the password (another alternative to keypad is using uart to read the password and then match it with the in built password.) ? In front of the gate : 1= there will be a wooden plank that will be pinned to the d.c. motor . 2=there will be one laser beam from laser diode falling upon the LDR(light dependent resistor) Working====> When a person will approach the gate, he will have to enter the password. Laser is already playing its role by falling on the LDR. When the password entered by the person matches with the saved password , LDR will stop detecting laser light and d.c. motor will rotate to open up the gate (consisting of the wooden plank). After the person has entered , gate will automatically close and LDR will again start detecting laser light falling on it. Even if the person tries to enter without entering the password , he will obstruct the laser and hence as a result buzzer will start beeping. Delays will be used to control all the timing action.
