A Biped Robot

We started this project in order to lay the foundation for a Humanoid in the future. We wanted to duplicate the walk of a human which is a very complex thing to do. We made the mechanical structure and started writing the algorithm. This video shows the 3rd version of our attempt to do that. It is not very close to being the final thing but yes this is a start and we are excited about it. We are working on a further prototype with better motors. We are now using Dual Shaft servos to do it and it is in works. It is a really challenging job because of the weight transfer and mechanical work required to acheive a stable walk. If the mechanical structure is good, only then can the coder start work on it. We hope you like our project. Thanks a lot.
