Q: What inspired you to become an engineer?

A: My interests in science and technology were sparked when I started primary school. Studying subjects such as mathematics, physics and chemistry relies on using one’s own thinking to find answers or discover new phenomena. For this reason, I have loved learning these subjects since childhood. Consequently, I embarked on the path to becoming an engineer during my education and career growth. In graduate school, my research involved solving problems related to electromagnetic wave propagation as well as electromagnetic interference faults in electrified railway systems. Now, I engage in scientific research and teaching work, while simultaneously solving technical issues on the railway.
