Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: I’ve always been interested in electronics – as a child, I would disassemble my toys to better understand how they worked.
Later, as a teenager, I took courses focusing on power and energy and telecommunications. Then, a bit later in life, I received my Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in electrical engineering.
Today I’m proud to say that I’m a Professor of Electrical Engineering.
