Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: When I was in high school, cell phones were becoming more accessible to everyone. I was awed by what the technology could do. What looked like a small plastic brick let me make calls even when I wasn’t at home near a landline! It changed how I communicated, and I felt more connected with my family and friends. Realizing the impact it made in my life inspired me to learn more and create technology that impacts people’s lives positively and continues to drive me to this day.
