Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?

A: When I was a child, my favorite toys were LEGOs, Mechanix products and a chemistry kit.

As an adolescent, I fell in love with video games, which sparked my interest in computer programming – I created my first web page when I was 12 on a slow dial-up connection.

Now, as an adult, I’m a computer scientist and I’m fortunate enough to work with robotics systems and other electronic devices.

I’ve always loved technology and I always will – it’s in my nature.
