Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: I’ve been interested in wires, tools and all things electronic since childhood – I used to take apart my toys to better understand them when I was growing up.
Once, when I was older, I accidentally ruined a car radio when trying to connect it into an AC output. My father wasn’t happy, so he took it upon himself to teach me more about electronics – from then on out, I spent a lot of time in my parents’ garage tinkering with electronics to better understand their ins and outs.
