Q: How do you think IEEE benefits your profession?

A: IEEE has been a cornerstone in both my academic and professional development. It connects me to a global community of engineers, researchers and leaders committed to transforming knowledge into solutions that truly improve people\\\\\\\’s lives. Through IEEE, I have been actively involved in projects, programs and events that integrate research, education, innovation and social responsibility, especially within the IEEE Electron Devices Society, the Microwave Theory and Technology Society and the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. IEEE offers unique opportunities for leadership, mentorship and international collaboration, strengthening the bridge between biomedical engineering, nanotechnology and public policy — the core areas of my daily work. Its global influence benefits both my profession and society as a whole by upholding ethical standards, technical excellence, and inspiring and empowering future generations of professionals and researchers to dedicate themselves to sustainable development and human well-being.
