What advice would you give to young technologists on how to get the most out of the IEEE membership experience?

I would advise them to join technical societies, contribute to publications, attend conferences and mentor others—IEEE is a gateway to global impact, not just a membership. It’s where future leaders are made.

What’s keeping you busy these days?

I’m currently immersed in scaling AI and edge solutions for real-world problems across various industries, including energy, manufacturing, retail and others. Responsible AI at the edge is what fascinates me most now.

What inspired you to become an engineer?

Since childhood, I have been disassembling objects to understand their internal workings. This curiosity fueled my passion to become an engineer. For me, the ability to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on people’s lives continues to drive my passion today.
