Q: What inspired you to become an engineer? Were you always interested in technology? If so, why? If not, when did you become interested and why?
A: I’ve always been passionate about technology – I still remember reading technology magazines and user manuals growing up!
Beyond my innate interest, my father served as an inspiration for me. He had a watch repair shop that I used to love going to. I enjoyed disassembling and reassembling watches and clocks – I spent so much time doing this and would even tinker in the shop on holidays and weekends.
Now, as an engineer, I can definitely attribute my initial interest in mechanics to my father’s shop, which played a huge role in my development.
